Paying it forward... Help children to be educated.

"I have 4 other sisters and I am the second eldest in my family.  Both of my parents were farmers and died rather young because of illness.  At primary school, I had to stop schooling so that I could look after my sisters.  This used to upset me as

all my friends were attending school but I wasn't.   I am married with 2 sons and a lovely daughter.  My husband is a good man now but he wasn't like this some years ago.  He was a alcoholic and things got really bad.  I had to separate from him and I lived only with my daughter for quite some time.  My dream was to become a doctor as I have seen too many people suffering from illness and I wanted to help them.  My eldest son wanted to be a teacher and we have gladly donated our land for him to build a community learning centre.  With this centre, I hope children from our village can be educated and have a better future!  If I had lots of money, I would like to build a nice house for my family.  Now, I cook meals for tourists who are volunteering in our village and I earn $5 a day.”
