Happiness and sadness are both part of life...

"I am 10 years old and studying in grade 4 at a primary school that is not too far from where I live.  I like school because I can get educated.  My dream is to become a Seller at my own shop one day because I can earn lots of money.  It will be

just like my 'new' mother' who owns this little shop in front of her home.  Yes, I live with my 'new mother' as my real mother has abandoned me for some time.  I don't remember everything but I know I have 3 sisters and a brother.  My father died young and my real mother used to beat me up a lot.  I remember hiding in the village somewhere often, so she could not find me or hit me.  One day, she took me to this little shop and left me there.  She said she was going to come back to pick me up soon, but she never did.  My 'new mother' is very kind and treat me like her own daughter.  I love living with her and her families. Actually, I don't want to see my real mother again as I am happy now.  I like watching TV and eating ice-cream.  I work at this little shop when I am not at school and I am responsible for washing dishes at home.”
