If you have ever thought about donating to a charity, you would have surely wondered about the different ways to get involved.  Donation can be in the form of time, skill, hands-on (local), monetary, and the growing, popular virtual volunteering, just to name a few.

We may be a young charity but we have been very fortunate to have many volunteers of all kinds helping us reach our goals for the children we serve.

Volunteer Puay Eng has been donating her time and skills with PeopleStories since 2020. Being inspired by founder Victoria’s vision for education, Puay Eng says, “Her values resonate with me.”  Puay Eng shared that she has benefited from a scholarship too and understands the importance of creating equal opportunities for all.

Giving your skill or an area of expertise is another way Puay Eng and others have considered. Not only does Puay Eng offer pro-bono coaching services to the volunteers of PeopleStories, she has also pledged to donate more coaching hours to anyone interested in Life and Career 1:1 coaching.
Coaching for Good! Puay Eng’s energy and passion are contagious. She isn’t wasting any time and says, “In 2022, I’m donating coaching hours to raise funds for more STEM scholarships, to help girls who aspire to advance their study (and life!).”
STEM4Girls is exciting and a wonderful, life-changing opportunity for the girls in rural Cambodia. We can’t thank you all enough for the continued support for us and the children. We couldn’t do it without you!

Donations sometimes come from surprising places and absolutely has no limit… we are talking about AGE!  Please meet our youngest volunteer/donor, Jaxon!

He and his mother Desley began their volunteering journey with us in 2018. Jaxon is now almost 12 years old and still believes in us and the work we’re doing. I was curious to know what motivates Jaxon to be so giving at his young age by giving $5 a month and he shared, “I wanted to donate to PeopleStories from my pocket money and know that this amount can go a long way towards helping the kids and their schools.” How wonderful is that? Thank you, Jaxon and mom Desley!

Would you like to watch the children from the villages transform into confident, driven young adults is a gift in itself!
